Main purpose of the job reporting to the Unit Manager, the incumbent will be responsible to control stock
and cash in accordance with the client and Company standards.Education and experience required: MatricExperience in the Food Industry or Similar Role Min of 2 years experience in the same roleExperience of stores control oredering and receivingCustomer service experienceKnowledge Skills and Competencies required: Passionate about delivering a world class service to our clients and customersAbility to work as a team but also willing to act on their own initiativeActs with honesty and integrityExcellent communication skillsMulti-lingual, advantageousProfessionalismReliable, dependableExcellent customer services skillsTeam player and can-do attitudeKey areas of responsibilities: To operate cash register correctlyMaintain all stock by rotating old stock and requesting new stock when necessaryTo ensure the accurate recording of all stock responsible To control float and takingsEnsure that stock is counted correctly and sales control sheets are extended correctlyTo ensure all customer complaints and requests are acted uponTo promote a good image to our clientTo maintain a high standard of personal hygieneTo assist other departments of the kitchenTo attend any training coursesIncluded in these duties, you are required to perform any other reasonable task required by your managerTo promote a good image to our clientsEnsure that the companies’ food safety management system is and maintained.To take part in any fire or evacuation drills at prescribed intervalsTo adhere to all policies and proceduresTo adhere to any Health and Safety instructions given within the workplaceKindly note: we will only communicate with applicants who meet the requirements.If we do not communicate with you within 2 weeks, it means that your application was not successful this time.The Company is committed to Employment Equity in line with legislation and will give first preference to candidates as per Equity requirements
