Swissport SA based at all major airports across South Africa, is currently looking for a dynamic, fit, motivated and honest individuals to join our team as Check-In Agents(Internal & External).
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications/ Experience & Knowledge
1. Grade 12
2. Tertiary Education: will be an added advantage(Travel and Tourism preferably)
3. Airline system knowledge
4. ACSA,Visa,Passport, Immigration and Customs knowledge
5. Swissport: Code of Conduct, safety and security compliance, and uniform policy
Job Specification
Areas of duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Ensure the safety and security of arriving/departing aircraft by ensuring that procedures are adhered to.
2. Ensure that we consistently deliver the required punctuality standards.
3. Manage all day to day operational issues, including check-in, operations, safety, security and passenger handling.
4. Minimise as far as possible short shipped baggage, immigration fines and ground handling incidents as per Airport/Swissport/Airline operating procedures, safety never compromised.
5. Communication/Liaison with applicable direct reporting.
6. Compliance: Airport/Swissport operating regulations as outlined in respective SOP`s.
7. Ensure that the safety of passengers is never compromised at all times.
8. Working environment: Ensure all areas are free of foreign objects (FOD) and kept tidy at all times as required by ACSA, operating and performance of duties.
Skills & Abilities
1. English Communication skills: Written, Verbal, Reading
2. Service minded with good communication and time management skills
3. Ability to work shifts
4. Personal: Honest, reliable, trustworthy, without criminal record
5. Ability to speak foreign language will be an added advantage
