Mission Statement
The main purpose of this position is to visit mining customers, compile/prepare tenders associated with the customers Maintenance and Servicing requirements. The incumbents knowledge of the mining fraternity is required to build relationships to ensure upgrade requirements as and when scheduled are channeled to the Company. Mapping and updating of the installed base in mining is a mandatory responsibility. ServIS to be utilized for all transactions. Provide sales support functions for other Company divisions and colleagues. Formulate presentation on Company capabilities bring to the customer Company’s current and future portfolios in Service related products and offerings i.e. Advanced Service Products, Strict adherence to budget requirements, with target KPI’s. Trip reports and market intelligence gather for dissemination by Company management. Traveling to various countries throughout the World is a distinct possibility.

Main Accountabilities
Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- General tendering within the Service Department for enquiries and projects in South Africa.
- Customer visit schedules to be drawn up in agreement with the Company Service manager.
- Compilation of complete technical and commercial proposals.
- Liaison with colleagues and clients at all levels.
- Complying with the tender process, ensuring the necessary documentation is completed.
- Providing the sales support.
- Attend site clarification meetings and perform site visits.(Safety).
- Must have ability to negotiate with suppliers.
- Tender SA & SSA.
- Compile tenders.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- At least National Diploma in Electrical Engineering : Light or Heavy current.
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years working experience in project engineering or proposals.
- Be technical competent.
- Computer literate in MS Office (Word, Excel, Projects).
- Should be an analytical thinker.
- Have a good communication and interpersonal skills, combined with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, as well as excellent writing skills.
- Be self-motivated and a self- starter.
- Able to work under pressure, handle stress, and to use own initiative.
- Must be willing to work from time to time after hours to complete tenders.
- Must have extensive Mining and Winder experience.
- General knowledge of Mining electrical and Mechanical systems.
- General knowledge of electrical construction and installations.
- SAP Experience.
- Must be eligible for a passport.
