Job Description :
Coordinate and manage the EOSH system inclusive
of all internal as well as external audits and corrective actions across all
functions, capabilities and sites within the organisation.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
·
Implement and maintain all Environment and Health and safety systems
including ISO 14 001 and OSH
18 001 and legal requirements
·
Coordinate and drive Health and Safety committee meetings.
·
Investigate all EOSH incidents and facilitate corrective action plans
·
Manage audit programs and inspection
·
Ensure all audit findings are addressed and closed out.
·
Maintain relevant procedures and Work Instructions
·
Contractor Management related to SHE
·
Identify and coordinate SHE Training needs
·
Handle new projects related to SHE involvement and management
Skills, Experience & Education
Minimum education – National Diploma in Safety
and/ or Environmental Management
Ideal education – BSc in Safety management or
Environmental management
At least 2 years’ experience in a role focused on
Health and Safety systems implementation
Strong systems knowledge and experience.
Influencing skills.
Experience in food manufacturing would be an
advantage.
