Job Summary:

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of HR Coordinator for the Mine Development Division at Venetia Mine near Musina, Limpopo Province. The successful candidate will report directly to the HR Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational HR execution in line with project requirements and HR Standard Operating Procedures
  • Managing Project labour according to approved labour plans
  • Managing unavailable labour within acceptable and approved ranges
  • Planning and coordinating re-location of employees
  • Training and coaching of Line Managers and operational HR staff based on audit outcomes
  • Planning and implementing of all HR systems, as well as providing accurate HR reports within predefined time frames
  • Managing Employee Relations within Company Policies, Procedures and Legislation
  • Custodian of Company Culture
  • Coordinating Employee Equity approach, i.e. equity strategy, equity committee, equity plan, overlap with recruitment and promotions policies

Key Requirements:

Extensive experience as an HR generalist (Manning, IR, Time & Attendance, EE), preferably in a contract mining environment
Knowledge of Human Resources practices and legislation
Good foundation and knowledge of HR governance systems and processes
A proven Employee Relations track record (relevant experience in representing the company at the CCMA, and managing union relationships)

Education:
Human Resources related Degree/ Diploma, obtained at a recognised tertiary institution
Excellent Computer skills, proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) including SharePoint
Good Planning, organising and administration skills
A valid driver’s licence
