It will be your challenge to raise our overall standards of technical competence and to make sure we’re reflecting national, regional and global best practice in everything we do.

You’ll also act as a source of expert advice for our senior programme staff, providing leadership in quality assurance and promoting best practices; and will work closely with partner organisations to expand our knowledge.

With a Masters in a WASH-related field, you’ll have an in-depth technical knowledge of water, sanitation or hygiene. Specifically, you’ll need the experience of implementing sustainable WASH projects in low-income countries in African context preferably in Southern Africa, and the challenges involved in designing, developing and delivering them.

A skilled networker, you’ll have a background of managing consultants and carrying out operational planning and research.

This role requires extensive travel.
