About the Job:
SEF is seeking a Research and Development Officer - Projects. The position will be based in Tzaneen and s/he will be required to work in rural areas, where operations are based.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Manage projects and staff for the purposes of improving poverty research, operational and financial systems, and training/coaching.

SEF is seeking a Research and Development Officer - Projects. The position will be based in Tzaneen and s/he will be required to work in rural areas, where operations are based.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Manage projects and staff for the purposes of improving poverty research, operational and financial systems, and training/coaching.
Qualifications:
- University degree with selected coursework - Development/Economics/Finance;
- At least 2 years’ work experience, preferably in the micro-finance sector;
- Experience in managing multiple projects and staff for a range of stakeholders, including international organizations;
- Skills in management, market research, and training /coaching;
- English language writing skills are essential;
- Strong Excel skills a very key requirement;
- Operational systems, develop statistically verifiable tools.
