Job Description
Mechanical experience in diesel, electric and hydraulic equipment
We are keen to speak to a committed and self-motivated Millwright with excellent communication and people skills to take on this challenging position to carry out repairs, maintenance and services on access platform and telehandlers at the Clients premises.
Requirements:
? Millwright/Forklift/Auto Electrical Qualification
? Basic Computer Literacy
? Basic admin skills required.
? OHAS Training
? Good spoken English
? Show leadership skills
? Tidy appearance
? Professional & confidential
? Ability to converse in a number of languages
? Management experience and supervisory experience
? Basic knowledge of general health and safety
Duties Include:
? Establish & maintain a safe work environment
? Preventative maintenance
? Pre and post inspections equipment
? Avoid rework
? Ensure work area is cleaned after a repair
? Communicate/give feedback to customer on repairs carried out or if further work is required
? Ensure job card/PDI/Work sheet is completed with all necessary details and signed by the customer
? Ensure parts used from stock is replenished
? Maintain cleanliness and standard of company vehicle
? Maintain awareness of rules and regulations as per the policy manual
? Ensure lifting equipment i.e. Slings, chains etc. is tested annually
? Ensue all tools are free of damage and correct tools used for the job
? To assist operations manager/technical manager with site inspections
? Must be prepared to carry out stand-by duties.
Remuneration:
R21 000 PM CTC
