Description
Purpose of the Role:
Support the Head Governance Financial Control to develop and maintain an appropriate group level reporting and

governance and processes.

Effectively fulfil the reporting and governance role as prescribed.

Responsibilities:
Design and maintain reports for Financial Control governance and risk reporting

Produce relevant and valuable governance reports to the appropriate levels of business Design standardised reporting template for the collation of cluster and country level risk and control information.

Improve the quality of governance reporting by evaluating reporting standards against best practice

Collation of monthly information and populating of reports

Establish a single point of entry for governance and risk reporting for Africa and clusters Collate monthly information from key stakeholders to compile risk and governance reports

Populate Barclays reporting templates with required information within the required timeline and ensure appropriate review by manager

Populate monthly KRI templates for each country/cluster and obtain agreement from risk officers on ratings applied prior to review.

Prepare risk and governance dashboards for review.

Prepare reporting t all relevant risk and governance forums for review.

Prepare reporting to relevant GACC, ORC, CMC , and other executive risk forums Attend to any review queries raised and ensure appropriately and timely resolution

Administration
Perform administrative functions within the governance team such as maintenance of data quality of the network drives.

Coordinate agenda for risk and governance forums with oversight from line manager Perform secretarial duties and meeting governance in relation to governance committee meetings

Execute ad hoc requests by line manager from time to time

Coordinate and distribute documentation and reports to all relevant stakeholders timely Follow up on all actions and queries raised in relevant forums

Stakeholder management

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure all reporting requirements can be achieved within required timelines.

Knowledge

& Skills:
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and the Internet

Essential/Basic Qualifications

Relevant National Diploma or equivalent NQF level 5 qualification

3-5 years experience in similar role
