Job Summary:
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Artisan Fitter at Cullinan in Gauteng, 40km South East from Pretoria. The successful candidate will report to the Engineering Foreman.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct all assigned work in a satisfactory and competent manner
• Ensuring the safety of the employees under his/her control
• Complying with the Health and Safety policy and practices of the company
Key Requirements:
• Previous working experience in their respective trade
• Knowledge of trackless mining equipment repairs and maintenance of Atlas Copco, Aard and CAT mining machines
• Equipment and tool maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Basic hydraulics – diagrammatic and operation knowledge
• Fully Computer literate
• Good communication skills in English, and at least one of the other official languages
Education:
• Matric Certificate
• Section 13 Fitter Trade Certificate
