Brief Description:
The focus of this role is to strategically manage, lead and facilitate the relationships of a Panel of OM Wealth Partners (financial planning businesses) in order to ensure the retention and growth of its relationship with OM Wealth. The incumbent is accountable for achieving results through others over periods of up to 2 years.

Ensures business growth through directing and managing Strategic Relationship activities to ensure these are delivered in accordance with the organisational strategy.
Responsible for interpreting the needs of Strategic Partners and ensures that OM Wealth deliver on our value proposition on all levels.
Leads a team of personnel nationally in order to strategically develop the existing relationships with financial planners (across all channels) and focuses on continuous market and advice development to compete on a global scale.
Responsible for building best practice financial planning businesses with Partners.
Responsible for improving Partners' business profitability and ultimately increasing the capital value of the Partners businesses.
Plans, directs and manages the performance of the Strategic Relationship team's operations, as dictated by the overall strategy agreed by Exco, to maintain and develop business growth in accordance with the agreed business strategy.
Responsible for securing new profitable business from our existing Partner base and retaining our current Partner base thereby creating an enduring exchange of value for Partners and profits for OMW.

KRA's:
· Successful strategic management of all OM Wealth relationships with Wealth partners, across all Broker Distribution channels.
· Business growth through the implementation of OM Wealth’s business development strategy.
· Directing and managing all strategic relationship activities, both strategic and operational.
· Retention and growth of existing Wealth Partners’ asset book with OM Wealth.
· Ensuring successful implementation of the Wealth value proposition in the Partners’ practices.
· Increase in business profitability and capital value of the Partners’ business.
· Successful strategic and operational management of the strategic relationship function.

Job Requirements:

Postgraduate qualification - MBA, CFP & relevant degree, i.e. BCom/BEconSc
Min 10 yrs Business Development Management experience in Financial Services industry. Investment related consulting will be an advantage
