We are looking for an ambitious developer who wants to join our team. We are a dynamic company, developing rich internet applications for clients in the corporate and sport industry. We develop rich internet applications for tablets and browsers.
You will need the following skills and experience:
Experience\Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent tertiary qualification with a computer science major from a recognized technikon or university.
- Minimum of 1 year commercial experience developing software
Flex:
Experience in Flex 3.5, Action Script 3 and Flex 4
Understanding of the Flex 3 component life cycle
Experience using Frameworks
Database:
Having relational database experience
Be comfortable constructing complex high performance SQL queries
General:
Must be comfortable with implementing OO designs.
Subversion or similar version control tool experience is an advantage.
Must have working knowledge of either Eclipse
Attributes:
Be able to work overtime and standby when required.
Needs to be able to work in a team.
Ability to work well under pressure, especially in maintaining a balanced and logical approach.
Self motivated and self managed.
Must be able to use initiative and take ownership.
Able to communicate effectively.
Report on progress and raise issues / problems when necessary.
