SEF is seeking an R and D Intern. The position is based at SEF'€™s headquarters in Tzaneen, Limpopo, South Africa. S/he may also be required to travel to one or more of organization's branches located in rural villages across South Africa in order to actively support the R and D projects.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Manage and evaluate projects such as:
- Financial education curricula;
- Poverty measurement tools;
- Development of new credit policy;
- Operational reporting.
- Responsible for assisting in one or more of these projects.
Qualifications:
- Experience (academic or professional) in microfinance or development;
- Strong computer skills in Excel;
- Data analysis;
- Strong project management skills;
- Proven proficiency in statistics and presentation skills desired but not required.
