Job Description
The Program Manager (PM) shall be responsible for the successful cost, schedule, and performance of the contract. Individual will serve as the main point of contact for the Contracting Officer (CO), the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), the Government Program Manager, and the Contractor's senior management.
Contribution to program efforts in several areas, including cost management/avoidance, schedule estimation and tracking, contract performance management, risk managment, requirements analysis, and quality assurance activities
In addition, the PM will ensure proper performance of tasks necessary to ensure the most efficient and effective execution of the contract. Expert communication skills required to direct the skilled technical resources and report on the technical progress, issues, and problem areas, as well as write and review technical documents
Minimum Requirements:
10+ years experience -plus- a minimum of 5+ years Program Management experience on task order contracts
Experience in planning and executing applied linguistic research projects in less commonly taught langauges
5+ years experience in managing applied linguist research in the languages of: The Middle-East and North Africa, The Horn of Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, Central Asia, The Caucasus, Southeast Asia including the Philippines.
5+ years experience in identifying, directing, and contracting scholars worldwide in less commonly taught languages to develop and deliver products
1 year or more experience in negotiating cooperative agreements with universities and/or individual academics in African countries, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Mauritania, Pakistan, Balochistan, the Philippines, and other areas as required by the CORWhat We OfferAECOM is a place where you can put your innovative thinking and business skills into high gear and work alongside other highly intelligent and motivated people.
