Job Description
Coordinate and manage the EOSH system inclusive of all internal as well as
external audits and corrective actions across all functions, capabilities and
sites within the organisation.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
·
Implement and maintain all Environment and Health and safety systems
including ISO 14 001 and OSH 18 001 and legal requirements
·
Coordinate and drive Health and Safety committee meetings.
·
Investigate all EOSH incidents and facilitate corrective action plans
·
Manage audit programs and inspection
·
Ensure all audit findings are addressed and closed out.
·
Maintain relevant procedures and Work Instructions
·
Contractor Management related to SHE
·
Identify and coordinate SHE Training needs
·
Handle new projects related to SHE involvement and management
Skills, Experience & Education
Minimum education – National Diploma in Safety and/ or Environmental
Management
Ideal education – BSc in Safety management or Environmental management
At least 2 years’ experience in a role focused on Health and Safety systems
implementation
Strong systems knowledge and experience.
Influencing skills.
Experience in food manufacturing would be an advantage.
