In this role you will need to ensure compliance with BHP Billiton

The purpose of this role is to execute the relevant portion of the business
plan for the operation in such a manner that all aspects of the budget for
which he/she is responsible are achieved in a sustainable manner with the key
focus of delivering on financial and operational targets through the application
of strict operating discipline. This should be underpinned by an unwavering
commitment to the company's values, specifically those around Zero Harm.
Serious contenders will have a Mine Overseer's Certificate of Competency or
Mining Operations MQA Level 4 Certificate. You will need to have the Government
Opencast Blasting Certificate or Surface Rock Breaking Certificate coupled with
4 years blasting experience. Supervisory experience and License to Supervise
Certificate will be an added advantage. Having experience in the coal mining
industry and good command in English is essential.
