Job Description:
The MWEB division in Cape Town currently has a vacancy for a Marketing Manager who, reporting to the General Manager, will be responsible for developing and implementing the marketing strategy, using elements of the MWEB marketing mix in order to establish and promote sales and usage.
Required Skills:
• Marketing Diploma or Degree essential
• At least 5 years’ experience in a marketing environment with the last 3 years in managing a team of marketing staff
• Experience in an internet or mobile technology marketing environment is essential
• Proven experience developing marketing strategies and plans
• Excellent command of the English language, ability to communicate at all levels and experience presenting to senior management team
• Creating and innovation
• Results driven and exceeding customer expectations
• Strategic thinker
• Assertive and confident
• Self-motivated and energetic
• Passionate with a strong sense of ownership
• Experience in online, CRM and in-venue advertising
• Ability to develop strong intercompany working relationships

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Devise the marketing strategy and execute the plan
• Achieve sales targets
• Control the Marketing Budget
• Assume accountability for all marketing activities above and below the line Manage all partners and retainers
• Manage all research
• Develop CRM strategy in order to achieve up sell and ARPU targets
