Qualifications;
post-matric qualification (B.Eng/BSc Eng.(Mining) or equivalent mining qualification) would be advantageous

Experience:

A minimum of five years experience in blasting technology.
Project management experience and site/operations management.
A history with pumpable explosives and pump technology will be advantageous

Duties:
Key Performance Areas


  • Plan and manage product trails and the implementation of new explosive technologies.
  • Document product performance on trials and project reports for clients.
  • Assist in the preparation of operating and training manuals for new systems.
  • Facilitate the training of company and mine personnel on new technology.
  • Identify opportunities for new business and develop and grow existing customer base.
  • Attend to customer queries and ensure speedy resolution of these queries.
  • Proactively manage high risk customers and identify corrective measure
