Introduction:

Metropolitan Retail, HR Training and Distribution has a challenging position for an individual who is results oriented with a consistent record of exceeding standards and expectations to fill the following vacancy at our office in Parc du Cap.


Position Purpose:
Research, develop, implement and maintain effective and statutory sound training processes to equip the Distribution staff with the necessary knowledge and skills in line with the business requirements that will enable them to perform optimally.

The Incumbent will be responsible for:
•Design, develop, implement and maintain customer friendly training programs;
•Facilitate training programs;
•Identify training needs and interpret a needs analysis;
•Assess application and integration of learning into the workplace and provide support to staff where applicable;
•Administer assessments;
•Provide management reports and statistics on training delivered;
•Build and maintain positive relations with staff in the business area;
•Develop and deliver training for projects;
•Train Learning Facilitators on new programs developed;
•Implement and maintain quality assurance principles and processes.

The applicant should meet these requirements:
•Grade 12 or equivalent;
•Knowledge and understanding of skills development;
•Knowledge and understanding of the insurance industry and industry legislation;
•A minimum of 2 years experience as a competent Learning Facilitator and developer of learning programs;
•Willingness and ability to travel;
•Some experience in project management;
•Excellent english writing skills.

Recommendations:
A NQF Level 5 qualification in OD ETDP will be an advantage.
