Post: Call for Panel of Experts - Various Positions

 Government, through AusAID, is committed to broadening and deepening its engagement with African countries and institutions. The Australia Africa Partnerships Facility (AAPF) is one of the mechanisms used
to achieve the second objective of Australia’s strategic approach to aid to Africa 2011-2015, which is ‘to help build the human resources capacity of African countries, particularly in areas and ways where Australia has recognised strengths and expertise’. The goal of the AAPF is to develop partnerships between Australia and African countries that contribute to achieving African countries’ development priorities.

The AAPF is managed on behalf of the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) by Cardno Emerging Markets (Australia) Pty Ltd (Cardno). The AAPF’s head office is in Pretoria, South Africa.

The AAPF is now seeking highly qualified and motivated candidates to be part of the Africa Program Support Group (APSG) – Panel of Experts for the following various short term technical positions:

Agriculture and Food Security Specialists (job reference number EMR/ACNP/AAPF/APSG01)

Financial Management Specialists (job reference number EMR/ACNP/AAPF/APSG03)
Inclusion Specialists (job reference number EMR/ACNP/AAPF/APSG04)
Mineral Skills Development Specialists (job reference number EMR/ACNP/AAPF/APSG05)
Mining Sector Governance Specialists (job reference number EMR/ACNP/AAPF/APSG06)
Monitoring and Evaluation Specialists (job reference number EMR/ACNP/AAPF/APSG07)
Procurement Specialists (job reference number EMR/ACNP/AAPF/APSG08)
Public Policy Specialists (job reference number EMR/ACNP/AAPF/APSG09)
Study Tour Support Consultants (job reference number EMR/ACNP/AAPF/APSG10)


The APSG Panel of Experts is a panel of pre-qualified individual consultants that Cardno can engage quickly to meet the needs of AusAID’s program in Africa. The APSG Panel of Experts will be used for a number of tasks within their technical area, including provision of advice, project/ activity design, scoping missions, project review and monitoring, representation on AusAID’s behalf at conferences etc., and report writing.
