We have an opportunity within our Finance department for a Finance Clerk. The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Capturing of ad hoc payments
Data/Calculation Verification of payment container
Bank Reconciliation
Processor Account Reconciliation
Data preparation for Accounting Application
Assisting with updating schedules on Excel
Assisting Finance Department with daily tasks
Other tasks to be allocated when necessary
Requirements
Two+ years experience in a similar role
Strong reconciliation experience
Must be proficient in MS Office
Advanced Excel skills
Matric - accountancy higher grade
Undergraduate financial degree or diploma (or studying towards)
Advantageous
Financial Application Experience (advantageous)
Personal Skills/Attributes
Deadline driven
Detail orientated
Team player
Ability to work and communicate across departments
Attention to detail
Self-motivated
Take initiative
Ability to work well under pressure
